Once your bitmap image has been converted to a vector format you will be able to use it for just about any purpose and it will always remain sharp, no matter what size you scale it up to. You could treat your vector image as the ‘Master File’. From your converted vector image you can save it into just about any other format you require, whether it’s for web use, printing or large scale graphic purposes.
Our Image to vector service or otherwise known as bitmap to vector service is one of the best value services on the web. Not only are our rates low but we pride ourselves by maintaining consistent high quality work.
Large Scale Graphics
We realise the importance of keeping the standards high especially if you need your logo or image to be used in large scale graphics such as large format banners, signs, floor mats and vehicle graphics. When your image is scaled up any defects or irregularities will become magnified and so will become more obvious. So when we convert your images or logos we do our best to make sure that each piece of artwork is redrawn to a high standard. We know that it may be scaled up to a very large size, therefore making every small detail more noticable to the eye than it would if being viewed on your computer screen.
Here’s an example of what can be achieved with vector drawing software. This Bitmap image was redrawn using Adobe Illustrator.
This TVR Cerbera illustration took approximately 20 hours to complete, no effects were used, just flat colours and the use of the gradient tool.
This is not the type of work we do very often, as it can work out very expensive because of the time it takes to produce this type of work.
Other Image to Vector requests
90% of our image to vector work is redrawing company logos into vector formats. But we do get lots of other requests for non-logo images to be converted such as maps, large format banners, business cards, designs for plaques, products images, cartoons, hand drawn elements and other general images.
But as with all artwork submitted to us, it’s important that you send the best quality bitmap image you have. This will make it easier for us to re-create the artwork as per the original image and so will be to your benefit.
We can redraw most images into vector but obviously if the quality is very low then it might be very difficult for us to work from. Although in cases we may be able to recreate the areas we can’t see, but as this requires more skill and judgement on our part and so this may incur extra costs. This is another reason why it’s beneficial to you to submit the best artwork you have.
The above image is an example of what can be achieved with vector drawing software such as Illustrator, Coreldraw, Freehand and Inkscape.
This TVR Cerbera illustration took approximately 20 hours to complete and is drawn using just Illustrator. No effects were used, just flat colours and the use of gradients.
The original bitmap image was quite a high resolution which always makes it easier to work from especially if there’s a lot of small detailed areas.
This image was only originally created as an example of what can be achieved in vector. As you can imagine we don’t do this type of work very often as it can work out very expensive because of the time involved to create it.
